Terms and Conditions
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Sylvan Park Boarding House, LLC (“Hotel”) and the “Guest,” representing the binding terms governing the stay. By booking or checking in, the Guest agrees to all terms herein.
No Elevator/Stair Access Required: Please note - our property has no elevator or lift service. Most guest rooms can only be reached by one or more flights of stairs. If you have mobility concerns, difficulty managing stairs, or require assistance, please notify us in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate room requests for easier access.
Reservations and Payment: Reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit/debit card at the time of booking. Unless otherwise specified, full payment is collected upon booking.
Cancellation and Changes: Guests who cancel 7 days or more before 5:00pm CST on the day of check-in are charged no fee. Guests who cancel less than one week before 5:00pm CST on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount. Certain promotional or special event rates are non-refundable and non-modifiable. Modifications to reservation dates or lengths may incur a change fee or rate adjustment.
Check In and Check Out Policies: Standard check-in time is between 4pm and 9pm; check-out is 11:00am unless otherwise stated. Early check-in / late check-out may be permitted based on availability.
Guest Conduct and Occupancy: Occupancy is limited to the number of persons specified at booking; unauthorized occupants may result in additional charges or eviction. Guests must present valid government-issued ID at check-in and adhere to the Hotel’s conduct policies. The Hotel may refuse or remove guests whose behavior poses safety or disturbance concerns.
Smoking, Pets and Noise: No-smoking policy applies everywhere in the Hotel. Violations may result in cleaning fees with a minimum of $400 per incident. Pets are not permitted except for registered service animals, subject to compliance with applicable laws and policies. Guests must respect quiet hours from 10:00pm CST to 7:00am CST, ensuring minimal disruption to others.
Additional Charges and Services: Charges for amenities will be added to the Guest’s folio and settled before check-out. Unpaid charges may be deducted from the credit card on file. The hotel reserves the right to charge guests the full replacement cost for any items that are removed from the premises without prior consent. This includes, but is not limited to, linens, towels, robes, large format toiletries, artwork, electronics, and other furnishings. The replacement cost will encompass the item's full value and any associated shipping or handling fees. If such removal is discovered after the guest's departure, the hotel may charge the guest's credit or debit card on file.
Damage and Liability: Guests are financially liable for damage, theft, or loss of Hotel property attributable to their actions or those of their visitors. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the card on file for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning. The Hotel is not responsible for loss of theft of personal items left in rooms. The Hotel is not responsible for injuries sustained on the premises - Guests use the Hotel at the Guest’s own risk.
Privacy and Data Use: Personal data collected for booking and stay management will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and not shared with third parties, except as required by law or necessary services.
Contests, Giveaways and Promotions: All contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways (collectively, “Promotions”) offered by Sylvan Park Boarding House, LLC, located in Nashville, TN (“Sponsor”), are subject to the following terms and conditions. By participating in any Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Promotions are open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, unless otherwise specified. Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible to participate.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not increase the chances of winning. Each Promotion will specify the method of entry, entry period, and any applicable limitations, and only entries submitted in accordance with those instructions will be eligible. Entries received outside the stated Promotion period will not be considered. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent or disruptive behavior.
Prizes offered in each Promotion will be described in the applicable Promotion announcement, including any restrictions or conditions. All prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or substituted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion or as required by law. The approximate retail value of prizes will be stated where applicable. Winners will be selected in accordance with the method described in the applicable Promotion (such as random drawing), and will be notified via the contact method provided at entry. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond within the specified time period, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
By entering a Promotion, participants agree, where permitted by law, to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation. By participating, entrants also agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any Promotion at any time if fraud, technical issues, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor also reserves the right to interpret and apply these Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion.
Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy and may be used for marketing purposes, unless the entrant opts out where applicable. Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law and are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Any Promotion conducted via third-party platforms, including but not limited to Instagram or Facebook, is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
