Picture everyone together under one roof: coffee on the front porch in the morning, long conversations in the sitting room at night, and no one heading back to a hotel across town. When you reserve the whole house, Sylvan Park Boarding House becomes your group’s own place in Nashville for a few days.

All eight suites of our 1910 home are yours, with room for up to 18 guests, along with the sitting room, front porch and front yard. Out back, the courtyard is shared with our neighbor Tantísimo, which makes a group dinner or brunch easy. We’re in the Sylvan Park neighborhood, about 4 miles from downtown.

Company offsites & retreats

Bring your team somewhere that feels nothing like a conference hotel. Leadership retreats, offsites and recruiting visits stay together in a private house, with a private bath in every suite, breakfast together each morning and the front porch to unwind on at the end of the day. The house works best as your team’s overnight home base. The sitting room is cozy and suited to casual conversation, so larger meetings and workshops are best held at a nearby venue, all a short drive from Vanderbilt, West End and downtown.

Wedding-party stays & celebrations

The ideal place to house your wedding party. Keep the bridal party, family and the people you love under one roof for the whole weekend: everyone wakes up in the same house, breakfast is waiting, and the stories from the night before get told on the front porch. The buyout is lodging for your group, so your ceremony and reception will need their own venue. It’s just as lovely for family reunions, milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

How many guests can stay?

Up to 18 guests across 8 suites: 7 kings and 1 double queen, each with a private bath.

How is a buyout priced?

Buyouts are quoted per night, plus tax, based on your dates, group size and any special requests. Email hello@spboardinghouse.com or call 615-450-3104 and we’ll send a quote.

Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum stays are flexible and vary by date and season. Weekends typically require two nights, and holidays or special events may have additional terms. Share your dates and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Can we host an event at the inn?

Buyouts are primarily for overnight accommodations, so weddings, receptions and larger events need a separate venue. Any on-site gatherings or special arrangements require advance approval and may involve additional fees.

Is breakfast included for everyone?

Breakfast is included for all overnight guests and is served in the lobby every day from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. It doesn’t cover outside vendors or other visitors you bring on site.
