The Rawlings
The Rawlings pairs neutral tones with natural textures and understated decor to create a space that feels restful and effortlessly comfortable. Simple, elegant furnishings and warm accents offer a tranquil place to unwind while still feeling thoughtfully styled and inviting.
This room is named in honor of Will and Mary Rawlings, formerly enslaved individuals who became familiar and respected figures in post-Civil War Nashville. After gaining their freedom, the couple operated a toll booth along Charlotte Pike near what is now Sylvan Park, greeting travelers heading west from the city.
