The Cohn

Vibrant yet refined, the Cohn Room blends rich botanical wallpaper, warm brass accents, and jewel-toned furnishings to create a space that feels energetic, elegant, and comfortably inviting.

This room is named for Corinne Lieberman Cohn, a trailblazer and a dedicated advocate for public education. Appointed to the Nashville School Board in 1927, she championed the creation of a separate junior high school for the city's students. Though she passed away before its completion, the school that opened in 1929 was named in her honor - the Corinne L. Cohn School - an enduring landmark along Charlotte Avenue in Sylvan Park.
